* All before & after school sessions are for the students of that school only. Open sessions permit access to anyone. Please ask a coach if you are unsure.

If your child is attending a lunchtime class and a after or before school class, please select Silver or Gold Membership

Students in before and after school sessions: As we are not affiliated with the schools we are not always aware of what year the students are in and it is the responsibility of the parents/carers to contact us if a child is leaving a school and therefore needs to cancel the membership or transfer to a different class/session. The membership is a monthly rolling contract and students are automatically enrolled each term unless we hear otherwise.

YOUR CHILDREN WILL HAVE FUN

It might not be easy to get your children to agree to holiday camps,
but we find that’s not the case when parents propose our Judo camp to their children. Learning Judo is fun, and it’s a great social activity.

In addition to Judo, we also offer tons of other fun activities for our students. They’ll play games, laugh, and get to know other children in a relaxed setting. We think it’s the best way to spend a holidays – and we think your children will agree!

Technical Camps are designed for Team A.S Judo Competition Squad & children who want to improve their Judo Held in the school holidays and run over 2-3 days. Suitable for children aged 8-18 years old.

Children will do at least 4 hours of judo as well as enjoy team games and outdoor sports in a fun and safe environment. Both Alan and parents see real progression after these intensive learning weeks.

Arrival is at 9:00am and the day ends at 15:00. Children need to bring a packed lunch, with light refreshments and drinks. There will be individual awards for the outstanding Judoka , ‘Top Boy’, ‘Top Girl Judoka’ and a ‘Spirit of Judo’ award for those who display the qualities of the judo moral code.

Alan Scott Judo Academy

Alan Scott the founder of  A.S. Judo has built a club using British champion Judo instructors to teach children in schools. The club began from a single class at Gateway school of 40 pupils 10 years ago to over a 1000 students in more than 50 schools. After an impressive Judo career, Alan was keen to create his own dojo where he could mentor children from 6 years old, nurture them to become not just judo athletes but individuals with discipline, respect for their opponents and the self belief to succeed.
