2012 Holiday Camps

All camps run from 9.00am – 3.00pm. to find out more about what we do at the camps and what to bring please go here

Extra Judo practice could pay dividends for the up coming club championship and whether novice or experienced player, all will benefit from the fitness, flexibility and strength training. Coached by former British Judo Champions Alan Scott and Peter Lomax.


Spring Holiday Camps 2012

Venue 1

When: 3 days, Wed 6th June – Fri 8th June 2012
Instructors : Sensei Peter Lomax and Igor Dimitrioski
Where:Great Missenden C of E School, Great Missenden
Cost: £80 for full 3 days or £30 per day

Venue 2

When: 3 days, Wed 6th June – Fri 6th June 2012
Instructors : Sensei Alan Scott and Vasile Panfil
Where:Marlow C of E Infant School, SL7 3AZ
Cost: £80 for full 3 days or £30 per day

Alan Scott:

Owner and Head Coach of A.S Judo Academy, 5 times National Champion, 3rd Dan (Black belt). Alan has represented Great Britain on numerous occasions and has competed in two European Championships and one World Championships.

Neil Eckersley:

Neil has been involved at all levels within British Judo and has reached the highest level. Neil competed in two Olympic Games, 1984 Los Angeles where he gained an Olympic bronze medal and 1988 Seoul, where he was British team captain. In 2001 he was awarded an honorary 6th Dan (Red and White belt).

Peter Lomax:

Peter is a Senior Coach at A.S Judo Academy, Pete is a 10 times National Champion and holds the rank of a 2nd Dan (Black belt).
In 2009 he became British Open Champion and European Cadet Champion. Peter has been involved in the sport of Judo for over 20 years.
